SentinelSense (“we,” “us,” “our”) is operated by Sage Advisors, LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our scam protection service at mysentinelai.com.

Information We Collect

Account Information: When you subscribe, we collect your name, email address, and payment information. Payment processing is handled by Stripe — we never see or store your credit card number.

Family Contact Information: If you opt into the Family Notification Layer, we collect the name and email address of your designated family contact.

“Trust This?” Email Content: When you forward an email to our analysis inbox, we process the email content to generate a verdict. We do not store forwarded email content permanently. The email is analyzed and then deleted. We retain only the verdict (SAFE/SUSPICIOUS/DANGEROUS) and a timestamp for your account records.

Usage Data: We track basic analytics — such as whether you opened the Weekly Digest, how many emails you submitted for analysis, and your last engagement date — to provide the service and improve it over time.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Deliver the Weekly Digest to your inbox
• Analyze emails you submit via “Trust This?”
• Send Family Notifications to your designated contact (if opted in)
• Manage your subscription and billing
• Send service-related communications (e.g., trial expiration notices)
• Improve the quality and relevance of our content

What We Do Not Do

• We do not sell your data to anyone
• We do not share your data with advertisers
• We do not store the content of emails you forward for analysis
• We do not share your learning or engagement data with third parties

Data Security

We use industry-standard encryption (TLS/SSL) for all data in transit. Account data is stored securely in our database with encryption at rest. Payment processing is handled by Stripe, which is PCI-DSS compliant.

Data Retention

Account information is retained while your subscription is active. If you cancel, we retain your information for 30 days in case you choose to resubscribe, then delete it. Forwarded email content is deleted immediately after analysis. Verdict logs are retained for the duration of your subscription.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing support@aiclassforseniors.com. If you request deletion, we will remove your data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain records for legal reasons (such as payment and tax records).

Your Rights Under GDPR (EEA, UK & Switzerland)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and equivalent laws give you specific rights over your personal data. Sage Advisors, LLC is the data controller for the information we collect through SentinelSense.

You have the right to:

1. Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
2. Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data
3. Erasure (the “right to be forgotten”) — ask us to delete your personal data. We will erase your account, family-contact records, verdict logs, and engagement data within 30 days of receiving a verified request, except where we are legally required to retain specific records. Forwarded email content is already deleted immediately after analysis.
4. Restriction of processing — pause how we use your data during a dispute
5. Data portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
6. Object — object to processing based on legitimate interests or direct marketing
7. Withdraw consent — where we rely on consent, withdraw it at any time
8. Lodge a complaint — file a complaint with your local data protection authority

To exercise any of these rights, email support@aiclassforseniors.com with the subject line “GDPR Request.” We verify your identity and respond within 30 days at no charge for reasonable requests.

Legal basis for processing: performance of a contract (delivering the service you purchased), legitimate interests (improving the service and preventing fraud), consent (where you explicitly opt in), and legal obligation (tax, accounting, and law-enforcement compliance).

International transfers: Sage Advisors, LLC is based in the United States, so your personal data is transferred to and stored in the U.S. We rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers, including the Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission where required.

Family Contact Privacy

Family contacts receive only summary information: the week's main threat, the number of emails analyzed, and a confidence note. They cannot access your account, view your forwarded emails, or see detailed analysis results. Family contacts can opt out at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in their notification email.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate SentinelSense:

• Stripe — payment processing
• Anthropic (Claude API) — AI-powered email analysis and digest generation
• AWS — email receiving and processing infrastructure
• Postmark / ConvertKit — email delivery
• Supabase — database hosting
• Vercel — website hosting

Each of these services has its own privacy policy. We select partners who meet high standards for data protection and security.

Children's Privacy

SentinelSense is designed for adults 65 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via email before the changes take effect.
