SentinelSense (“we,” “us,” “our”) is operated by Sage Advisors, LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our scam protection service at mysentinelai.com.
Information We Collect
Account Information: When you subscribe, we collect your name, email address, and payment information. Payment processing is handled by Stripe — we never see or store your credit card number.
Family Contact Information: If you opt into the Family Notification Layer, we collect the name and email address of your designated family contact.
“Trust This?” Email Content: When you forward an email to our analysis inbox, we process the email content to generate a verdict. We do not store forwarded email content permanently. The email is analyzed and then deleted. We retain only the verdict (SAFE/SUSPICIOUS/DANGEROUS) and a timestamp for your account records.
Usage Data: We track basic analytics — such as whether you opened the Weekly Digest, how many emails you submitted for analysis, and your last engagement date — to provide the service and improve it over time.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Deliver the Weekly Digest to your inbox
- Analyze emails you submit via “Trust This?”
- Send Family Notifications to your designated contact (if opted in)
- Manage your subscription and billing
- Send service-related communications (e.g., trial expiration notices)
- Improve the quality and relevance of our content
What We Do Not Do
- We do not sell your data to anyone
- We do not share your data with advertisers
- We do not store the content of emails you forward for analysis
- We do not share your learning or engagement data with third parties
Data Security
We use industry-standard encryption (TLS/SSL) for all data in transit. Account data is stored securely in our database with encryption at rest. Payment processing is handled by Stripe, which is PCI-DSS compliant.
Data Retention
Account information is retained while your subscription is active. If you cancel, we retain your information for 30 days in case you choose to resubscribe, then delete it. Forwarded email content is deleted immediately after analysis. Verdict logs are retained for the duration of your subscription.
Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us. If you request deletion, we will remove your data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain records for legal reasons.
Family Contact Privacy
Family contacts receive only summary information: the week's main threat, the number of emails analyzed, and a confidence note. They cannot access your account, view your forwarded emails, or see detailed analysis results. Family contacts can opt out at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in their notification email.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate SentinelSense:
- Stripe — payment processing
- Anthropic (Claude API) — AI-powered email analysis and digest generation
- AWS — email receiving and processing infrastructure
- Postmark / ConvertKit — email delivery
- Supabase — database hosting
- Vercel — website hosting
Each of these services has its own privacy policy. We select partners who meet high standards for data protection and security.
Children's Privacy
SentinelSense is designed for adults 65 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via email before the changes take effect.
