SentinelSense exists because of what happened in my own family.
I'm Erik Newton.
I spent my career as an attorney understanding how systems work and how to explain them clearly. I'm also a radio host, which means I've spent years learning how to communicate complex topics in ways that actually land with people.
I co-founded the California Institute for Machine Consciousness (CIMC.ai) with Joscha Bach, one of the world's leading researchers in artificial intelligence. This isn't someone who learned about AI from blog posts. It's someone who helped shape the research.
It started with my family.
My mom Joan is incredibly capable and smart — but the internet and AI just aren't native to her. My wife passed away from cancer, and we spent nearly two years in the hospital dealing with that. My stepfather also passed away, and before he died, scammers nearly conned him out of his life savings using isolation strategies — my mom noticed his behavior had changed and told me, and we stopped it just before the wire went out.
My uncle wasn't so lucky. He lost nearly his entire life savings to a similar scam.
Those experiences taught me something: knowledge alone isn't enough. People need ongoing protection — something that watches their back every week, not just once during a course. That's why I built SentinelSense.

Privacy Over Profit
We don't sell your data. We don't store your forwarded emails. We don't share your information with advertisers. Our revenue comes from subscriptions. That's it.
SentinelSense + Sage Curriculum
SentinelSense is a standalone product — you don't need to take the Sage Curriculum to use it. But they work beautifully together. The course teaches you about AI and scams. SentinelSense provides the ongoing protection that keeps those lessons alive every week.
