About SentinelSense
What is SentinelSense?
SentinelSense is a weekly scam protection service designed for adults 65 and up. It includes three things: a Weekly Digest email every Tuesday with current scam alerts and safety information, a "Trust This?" email analysis service where you can forward suspicious emails for instant AI-powered verdicts, and an optional Family Notification Layer that sends your family a brief Sunday summary so they know you're staying safe.
Do I need to install anything?
No. SentinelSense works entirely through email. There's no app to download, no dashboard to learn, and no software to install. You receive emails, and you forward suspicious messages when you want them analyzed. That's it.
Is SentinelSense connected to the Sage Curriculum course?
They're separate products from the same team. SentinelSense works on its own — you don't need to take the course to use it. But they pair well together: the Sage Curriculum teaches you about AI and scams, and SentinelSense provides ongoing protection after you've learned the basics. The Complete ($129) and Gift ($149) course tiers include SentinelSense at no extra cost.
How It Works
How does "Trust This?" work?
You forward a suspicious email to your SentinelSense inbox. Our AI analyzes it and sends you back a plain-language verdict within minutes: SAFE, SUSPICIOUS, or DANGEROUS — along with three specific reasons and one clear recommended action. You can analyze up to 5 emails per day.
What's in the Weekly Digest?
Every Tuesday morning, you get a short email (under 3 minutes to read) covering five sections: This Week's Alert (a new scam to watch for), The Safe List (services you can trust), a Real Story from someone who caught a scam, a Family Corner note, and a Quick Check reminder. Every digest is AI-drafted and then personally reviewed by Erik before it goes out.
How does the Family Notification Layer work?
If you choose to opt in, you can designate a family member's email address. Every Sunday at 10 AM in their timezone, they receive a brief summary: the week's main threat, how many emails you analyzed, and a confidence note. They don't need an account. They can't see your emails. It's just peace of mind for them.
How fast are the "Trust This?" verdicts?
Within 5 minutes. That's our promise. Most verdicts arrive in under 3 minutes.
Pricing & Billing
How much does SentinelSense cost?
$12/month (cancel anytime) or $99/year (save 31%). Both plans include everything: the Weekly Digest, "Trust This?" email analysis, and the Family Notification Layer.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. If you're on the monthly plan, you can cancel anytime. Your access continues until the end of your current billing period. No cancellation fees. No hassle.
What payment methods do you accept?
All major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover). Payment processing is handled securely by Stripe — we never see or store your credit card information.
I bought the Sage Curriculum Complete or Gift tier. Do I get SentinelSense?
Yes. The Complete tier ($129) includes 3 months of SentinelSense, and the Gift tier ($149) includes 6 months. At the end of your included trial, you can continue at the standard rate or let it expire. No pressure.
Privacy & Security
What happens to the emails I forward?
They're analyzed by our AI and then deleted. We never store the content of your forwarded emails permanently. We log the verdict (SAFE/SUSPICIOUS/DANGEROUS) for your account analytics, but the email itself is gone after analysis. Privacy is non-negotiable.
Do you sell my data?
No. We don't sell data. We don't share data with advertisers. Our revenue comes from subscriptions. That's it.
Is my information encrypted?
Yes. We use industry-standard encryption for all data in transit and at rest. Your account information is stored securely, and payment processing is handled by Stripe.
Can my family member see my emails?
No. The Family Notification Layer only tells them high-level information: the week's main threat, how many emails you had analyzed, and a confidence note. They cannot see the actual content of any emails you forwarded.
For Family Members
I want to set this up for my parent. How does it work?
Subscribe on their behalf (or gift them a subscription). They'll receive a welcome email with simple setup instructions. You can be listed as their family contact to receive the Sunday summary. They use the service through email — no technical skills required.
What if my parent isn't tech-savvy?
SentinelSense is designed for exactly that person. There's no app, no dashboard, and no login required for the core features. They receive an email every Tuesday. If something looks suspicious, they forward it. That's the whole workflow.
Can I see what emails they're forwarding?
No. You receive a summary count (e.g., "forwarded 2 emails this week") and the verdicts, but not the actual email content. This protects their privacy while giving you peace of mind.
